sooth the grieved.
Interests and patience
must be mustered.
Enough, you can appease
the narrator.
Interruption and
interference
Withheld, you are set to
cleanse the teller.
To an allegation, or a
gossip,
Or one’s bragging,
listening be withdrawn.
With silence and
non-verbal sympathy
And wholly presence,
listening will cure.
